Yes. Just select the twin share room option when booking. Where possible we will pair you with another person of the same sex.
It depends on the tour and location, but mainly English, German, Spanish, Dutch and Italian. A guide fluent in the local language will always be present. Please contact the Global Adventure Guide team if you have specific language speaking requirements.
It varies from tour to tour. Generally the age range is from 2–65, with a mixture of clients from the US, UK, Australasia and Europe. Everybody is welcome on our tours, and the mixture of ages and nationalities on our tour groups is something we value and our participants enjoy.
Yes, children are most welcome on many tours. However, some tours are unsuitable for children. Please contact us with the age and fitness of your child along with the tours you are considering, and we will happily advise on suitability.
International flights are not included in the tour itineraries or the tour price. International flights must be arranged either by yourself or a travel agent. Domestic flights are included on some tours. These are specified in tour itineraries and included in the tour price.

We recommend you obtain local currency before you arrive in a country, or else on arrival. Money exchange is not always available once the tour has started.

Get a quote from Travelsure travel insurance.We recommend arriving at least the day before the tour, to allow for acclimatisation, sightseeing, and a good night’s sleep to recover from jetlag. For long international flights, 2 extra days would allow for unexpected flight delays.

We recommend you bring your own bike, especially on mountain bike tours. In many destinations we can supply rental bikes, but we would still recommend you bring your own. We only supply normal pedals so if you prefer clipless, please bring your own.
NOTE: Due to the varied range of bikes and components available in different countries, we cannot guarantee that parts will be available for the bike you bring. We recommend that you bring your own spares, and ensure your bike is fully maintained prior to departure.

Yes. Helmets are compulsory on our tours, and are a legal requirement for biking in some countries. We recommend you bring your own helmet, gloves and shoes.
You must pack your bike carefully to protect it in transit. Baggage handlers worldwide can be rough with luggage.
How to pack your bike securelyRequirements such as clothing will vary for each tour and will be included with your booking confirmation sheet. As stated earlier, we also recommend you bring your own bike helmet, gloves and shoes, and if possible, your own bike and spare parts.
Checklist of recommended spare partsTours are graded so you can gauge the difficulty. Where possible we can supply altitude graphs so you can view how much climbing there will be each day. Remember a support vehicle will almost always be available.

Each day’s distance will be listed in the itinerary where possible. Most days we will have a support vehicle available, so you can opt to bike less than the stated distance. Alternatively if you wish to bike more, let your guide know so it can be arranged where possible.
Yes. We have customised tours for small or large groups, families and even large charity tour groups of 80+ participants. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

It may be possible to join the group for part of the tour. Contact us with your preferred dates and we will advise if this is possible.

Yes. As long as the tour has more than 2 places left, you can hold a place for up to 7 days. After this you must pay your 25% non-refundable deposit to confirm your place.
