A large part of the route uses spectacular mountain roads. By the end of the tour you will have ridden the highest pass in mainland Spain and Western Europe, (Pico Veleta 3396m), stayed in the highest village in mainland Spain, (Trevelez,1500m) and ridden many major climbs of between 8 km and 44 km in length.
The ride includes comfortable traditional hotels, a welcoming and hospitable service and a chance to savor the varied cuisine of this part of Andalusia. All you need to do is pedal, (mainly in low gears!), to enjoy a truly memorable cycling holiday that will be a real achievement.
