For the avid cycle historian you can visit the birth place of the mountain bike Marin County and the places where names such as Ritchey, Bontrager and Fisher all grew from.

Once you get over the depth of history and sheer expanse of this country you start to find the most amazing pockets of outdoor wonderlands just begging to be visited. It would be a road trip from hell to take in all of the US in a short tour so we don’t bother. Instead we focus on maximizing the time available by taking in many of the highlights in an smaller area to give a great feel for tat part of the US. Remember even small is big in the birthplace of the super size me culture.
