We visit 2 National Parks and the islands of Central Dalmatia. Highlights include Trogir's UNESCO-protected old town, Primošten's huge vineyards, Dalmatia's capital Zadar, Telašćica Nature Park, the Krka National Park and waterfalls, and the Kornati Islands.

We cycle throughout the day, meeting our floating hotel for lunch and dinner. In the evening, you can choose to explore harbour towns. The cycling is easy-to-moderate with distances up to 45 km, and may be suitable for families.

Great cuisine, a friendly crew and expert tour guides await you. At night enjoy your air-conditioned cabin, or stay on deck to rest beneath the stars.

Easy Tours

Easy tours are designed for you to experience a new activity and culture with some exercise, in a relaxed environment. If you’d like a peaceful holiday with a light introductory focus on one or more activities, this is a great option. Routes chosen will be easy and often ridden entirely at your own pace. They are usually suitable for families.

An average level of fitness is required, exercising at least once a week prior to the tour.

Full Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrival Day: Trogir to Šolta

Cycling: approx. 20 km

Please make your own way by car to Trogir (or by plane to Split). After checking in to the motor yacht at Trogir and having lunch on board, our first cruise begins as we head for Maslinica on the Island of Šolta. Walled fields, numerous olive groves, carob and fig trees line the roads. The fragrance of lavender and rosemary surrounds us we cycle to Šolta's largest village, Grohote.

DAY 2

Rogoznica to Primošten to Šibenik to Vodice

Cycling: 15 km

In the morning we cycle from the popular bay village of Rogoznica on the Dalmatian coast south to Primošten, with its beautiful vineyards and beaches. Our motor yacht will then take us through a narrow passage to the historic city of Šibenik. After visiting the old town and the famous Cathedral of St James, a UNESCO World Heritage building, we sail to popular Vodice, and stay the night in its pretty bay.

DAY 3

Vodice to Murter to Telašćica

Cycling: 15 km

This morning we cycle from Vodice to the island of Murter in the Šibenik archepelago. Murter is connected to the mainland by a 'lift' bridge. We meet the boat for lunch in a quiet harbour and in the afternoon we cruise through the National Park of the Kornati Islands, an archipelago in crystal clear waters, known for its diverse flora and fauna. We arrive on the island of Duji Otok and walk along impressive island cliffs in Telašćica Nature Park, a World Heritage site on Duji Otok's south.

DAY 4

Dugi Otok to Zadar

Cycling: 35 km

Today's ride begins on a quiet road in the Telašćica Nature Park, which spans Duji Otok's south. We have panoramic views of seemingly countless islands in the deep blue sea. We lunch at Savar harbour, then cruise to Zadar on the mainland. Populated since prehistoric times, Zadar was for centuries the political, cultural and spiritual heart of Dalmatia. Your guide will take you on an extensive walk through the lanes of the lively old centre and its architectural features. We overnight at Zadar's harbour.

DAY 5

Islands of Ugljan and Pašman to Krka National Park

Cycling: 30 km

During breakfast our boat takes us to Ugljan in the Zadar Canal. We cycle its east coast and cross a bridge to Pašman. In the afternoon we cruise further up the Krka River, and in the evening arrive in the small town of Skradin, reportedly Bill Gates' holiday favourite. From here we explore the magnificent lower waterfalls of Krka in the Canyon of Krka National Park. Here the Krka meanders 10 km over the flat, 40 km through canyons and 20 km past lakes, which are connected to the Adriatic.

DAY 6

Skradin to the Island of Zlarin

Cycling: 30 km

Today we explore Krka National Park by bike. We cycle through wooded valleys to Lake Visovac and its island monastery. This was settled by Augustinian monks who established a small monastery and church, which they dedicated to the Apostle Paul in the 14th century. After a swim we'll cycle back to Skradin through quiet villages. In the late afternoon we'll sail to the coral island of Zlarin, and spend a relaxing evening there.

DAY 7

Island of Zlarin to Trogir

Cycling: 20 / 45 km

This morning our motor yacht takes us back to Rogoznica. You can choose between a circuit around the large bay, or cycle among hills through small villages to Trogir, a historic town on the Adriatic coast. On your final descent there's a grand view of the coastline around Split. In the afternoon we can stroll through the narrow alleys of Trogir's UNESCO-protected Old Town, and devote our attention to the cultural side of the trip.

DAY 8

Departure Day: Trogir

No cycling

Time to say goodbye to Croatia's stunning national parks, harbour towns and islands. Check out is at 9 am, after a hearty breakfast.
